About The Art Piece

The Bay is a watercolour illustration of a bay by M Becher.

A watercolour painting, the piece depicts a bay with waves crashing against rocks and the cliffside near the shore against a sunset sky. A house or overlooks the bay in what appears to be a contrasting scene of peace, calm and shelter at heights and forceful waves at work below.

Skilfully done, the artists utilises colours to depict the dynamism of crashing waves. The same technique is used to create the cliffs, rocks and land overlooking the bay.
